Prototype Hornet

This is the prototype Northrop submitted for the Lightweight Fighter Competition.
After loosing to the incredible YF-16A Fighting Falcon the YF-17 underwent a major redevelopment into the F/A-18A Hornet for the US Navy and other international Air Arms.
