I am glad you like them, Mates. I was fortunate enough to visit the museum on sunny Saturday 🙂 I must say that it was not easy to get there with public transportation means from Cambridge, but it was worth to take the trouble, nevertheless.

Thank you for sharing the pictures. A great museum, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to see everything during my visit to the Battle of Britain memorial airshow in September. When I come back to the area I will plan at least 2 days for this.

You're welcome, Nicolas. That's a perfect plan indeed 😉 When I arrived at the museum the Air & Space hall was closed for public, and it was opened ca. 3 PM. In consequence I had only about 30 minutes to walk around this hall... I hope I will have another oportunity to visit IWM Duxford, too.

Great museum - istn't it? I am curious: have you been at the "Scale Model World" in Telford? I ask because mates from our modelling club usually go to Duxford and/or Cosford on therir way to the model show (it was last weekend).

Great it is indeed, Juergen 🙂 No, I have not been in Telford - I had to rely on public transportation to get to IWM Duxford from Cambridge and for me it was enough fun for one day 😉
