RuAF Su-25 SM3 "super rook"

Started with FabScale´s 3d printed air intakes and Quickboost corrected engine fans 

in a correct angle and lighting you can see the fans inside 

Quinta´s 3d decals at the cockpit sides attached 

3d printed ejection seat completely painted and issued with Quinta 3d decals. Looks perfect to me 

frontal dashboard in SU-25 SM3 configuration completely finished 

Cockpit rear wall and side panels issued with Quinta decals also for SU-24 SM3 configuration 

 

 

 

Fit is great so far, a real joy to build! 

released the 3d printed landing gears from their carriers and these look great. It is my first part from Temp Models but this looks great! 

 

replaced the kit nose with Quick Boost´s resin nose which included the visible interior of the laser range finder 

added 40 gramms weight into the interior according to kit instructions to avoid a tail sitter 

Rocket pods, extra fuel container and KAB-bomb are just fixed with Patafix for the picture. These will be removed until everything is painted later 

 

 

 

Very difficult to handle now - lots of fiddly parts which will break off easily 

Applied the eduard raised rivets decals. This was the first time I did used them at all. They need very less time to get released from the carrier paper and you will not have too much time to align them properly as they also begin to stick to the surface very quickly. But in the end I expect they will look nicely once overpainted with primer 

The topside decals had to be cut out as the SM3 variant have additional flare dispenser above the upper surfaces above the engines. A bit of measuring and everything worked well here
