Embraer ERJ-145 and ERJ-135

DEcals in the box and my own project decals ( Stropdecal) 

Considering the reputation of Amodel , the parts fit nicely together on this kit 

I decided not to follow the kit instructions to build the front , middle fuselage and tail cone and to glue these assemblies together as there a no location pins . Instead I glue the left and right parts together with superglue and added an internal reinforcement . The tail and wing go together with no problems, just a little filing to remove the sprue connection

simplified cabin interior built with plastic card and profile (no much to be seen afterwards) 

all 35 windows glued in place without problems (just some filing ) glued with Kristal kleer and masked (provided in the kit). The engines are glued together, the canopy is masked and the cockpit assembled with some nice decals from the kit.

The underside needed a little bit more sanding and filing of the seam 

dry fitting of the tail and wings, which will be first painted before final assembly 

The previously made VAMI embraer erj-135 ( see scalemates.com/profi..bums&album=24425) will receive a facelift : varnish and old decals are to be removed, a new coat of tamiya x-2 white and new decals to be applied. 

Slow progress last week : fuselage painted white ( Tamiya pure white) with very thin layers and 24h waiting time after each layer and the tail painted blue with humbrol 24
