Interesting project. How are the Modeltrans parts. I had mixed experiences in the past. Can you tell me where you found the decals as I could use them for my Leo 2 project and haven't found them anywhere.

Bald kommt der Leo 2A6M CAN von HobbyBoss: Canadian Leopard 2A6M CAN Ma..Tank (Trumpeter 07193, 1:72)
Einen Umbau zum 2A4 CAN findest Du in meinen Alben.

Do you have the right one?
Afaik quite a few of Leo kits and its various versions suffer from a wrong exhaust. Are you gonna change it?

At first I tried to grind it out, which was'nt exact enough. With the two types of saws and some putty it'll work out - at least I hope so.
I have Revell's Leopard 1A5 in stash, which contains both types of exhaust. But I didn't want to cut the whole rear into pieces.
The 1A5s were coverted A1A1s from the first production batch. So the kit itself isn't wrong for an appropriate A5, except for the fantasy dozer blade. For a C2 the hull of a later production model is suitable, like the C1 or A3 and A4s. I should have known better because I have already built the C1...aaaahhhh 🙂

That is some top canadian Leo. Great paint job with very convincing wear and tear. The 3D-printed tracks look great when painted expertly. Very well done.
