PZL W-3RM Anakonda - prototype (WiP)

Project started few months ago... 

... and suspended on that stage 😉 

New start - from something easy 🙂 Blades are improved - originally in kit they're equal along the entire length 🙁 

I also changed the blade deflection to quite a bit less than in the kit 

First fitting for the cabin - the inclination is probably right 

It's time for the dashboard - the instructions show the wrong one for the prototype. You need to use the one from the PLZ W-3 Sokół 

I added lever and made some decals for switches etc. (they do not fit exactly to 3D objects, but... the cockpit is not from prototype version and I tried to show things installed in prototype 🙂 ) 

Still wet decals 🙂 Main panel was projected by person, who worked with this type of helis for years so I believe is quite good 🙂 

Cockpit panels re-painted - green was a mistake based on photos made with flash. Now is a bit more accurate 🙂

Now I'm trying to paint seats. Visible checker to be only in the middle of the seats. 

I'm quite happy with the effect 

After few months break (I had to rest from that model) I decided to continue project. I spent few hours on sanding and fitting engine cowlings... 

... 12 parts! Who had so "genius" idea to split it so much?! 

One side ready 🙂 Number of plastic parts from kit: 1 (one) 😄  

Second side is still waiting 🙁 but now everything fits together 🙂

Some parts added just for filling gaps in body - antenas (?) will be removed (weren't installed on prototype. 

Inflatable floats mounted (grrr.... 3-4 pieces each! what for?!)

Current status (the rotor was rebuilded; now is much better seated)
