I got just a bit carried away getting the old decals off!

The blue paint did NOT want to stick to the white paint (primer?)

The only decal I need to find is the "Eleanor" and the personal/squadron badge.

Gave the top a first coat of fresh paint where I had bore through the paint in my haste to remove the old, peeling decals.

Album info
Got this with some other built aircraft. Put together halfway decent and the paint job was OK. Took some effort to get the old, yellowed decals off - and one was upside down. I think I have enough decals in the stash to make Garth Jared's bird from the 309th or a Spitfire from 2nd FS, 52nd FG in Italy.
