Album image #1
Some parts and the plane.

Album image #2
the cabin with the added passenger section (and a new pilot)

Album image #3
very little can be seen from "my" cabin in the finished plane

Album image #4
surface detail is very nice, but still more filing and filling to do

Album image #7
OKish, but still some work to do. I have to open the cabin window to have pilot guy waving out of the window

Album image #8
Decals (my Chinese colleague transcribed them to me so that I could print them out on transparent decal paper)

Album image #9
decals applied (50%), a bit of silvering...

Album image #10
...but generally I am happy...

Album image #11
...also with the close fit...

Album image #12
That last layer of gloss varnish was definitely a mistake...

Album image #13
...as suddenly the decals clearly stick out again...

Album image #14
...while before they looked fine (and still do at the underside) but not now 🙁

Album image #15
The ladders are from Brendan sets...

Album image #16
...one supposedly for the passengers to exit...

Album image #17
...one for the mechanic to work on the engine (I have yet to convince my decals to cooperate...)

Album image #18
Album image #19
the carriage and the fountain look a bit more realistic now...

Album image #20
...and, no, the horse is not floating in the air, it'S an illusion caused by the glass plate in the frame...

Album image #21
Terminal

Album image #22
NIngsia / Ningxia / Ninsia

Album image #23
The diorama is basically flat with no elevation whatsoever...

Album image #24
...but I guess most airfields will be like that 🙂

Album image #25
I've been busy for a while but finally I was able to continue...

Album image #26
...adding some figures, the refueling cart, the dog (well, that's from NOCH)...

Album image #27
...barrels (what could be in the one labelled "XXX"? 🙂...

Album image #28
...I like my figures in 1:72 better than my 1:35 (which I never get right)...

Album image #29
...only the Chinese pilots and a photographer are missing now, before I call it quits.

Album image #30
Complete! Hooray!
