In the shadow of the navys much more famous zero, the Oscar shared a similar fortune like the Hurricane in the RAF.
Older Design and not so famous but widely used and in the end more Shotdowns of enemy planes than the much more popular and known Design.
Also this will be the start of a serie of Oscars beginning with the First version Ki.43-1 on duty in summer 1941 over Hankung/ China)
