Howard DGA-6, Mr. Mulligan - completed

Rear edge of the cowling thinned down. Molded on engine removed and front edge reworked. Separation lines between panels of the cowling and screws added. 

Spark plugs (0,5 mm rod) and ignition wires (0,22 mm wire). 

R-1340 Wasp almost completed (a half dozen of inlets between cylinders not jet in place): 114p.  

Today I noticed that the front opening of the cowling is too large in diameter. 0,75 x 0,75 mm rod helped to correct the problem.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

New correct panel lines and screws.  

Because of the access door on the right side the layout of the ribs is different for left and right side of the fuselage.  

 

 

 

 

Instrument panel. The curious shape makes looking forward possible. 3 x 0,3 mm plastic, 5 mm ureol as distance.  

 

 

 

 

Cockpit completed (minus harnes and auxiliary fuel tank). 

 

 

 

 

Engine completed: 130p. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last difficult obstacle is done: installation of the wing on the fuselage. On the underside I filled the wide gaps with bend into L-shape 0,13 mm thick plastic.
