14February 12, 2014121031 - Main gear door installation was a saga: File and shape the door, styrene to hold door at the right level, close side gap, fill well with 5-minute epoxy, and cap with door part, wiping excess epoxy with acetone.
15February 12, 2014121103 B707 - That 1/2 oz. of lead in the nose was far too much for a stick-mounted model, so I had to (a) drill a hole big enough to (b) insert a load of BBs followed by (c) a load of epoxy to hold them in place. She's a pretty heavy bird now!

Boeing 707-321C, N450PA, Pan Am Jet Clipper "Borinquen" in 1/144 scale.
From Minicraft kit #14502 (1999 tooling) with Two-Six Decals set #STS44137s). Paints are cheap rattlecan with Alclad II metallics.
