Tamiya did a nice job on the structure of the armour plates!
Give us more, Holger! More! More! More!

Hi Frank! This kit fit´s so good that the pure building process wont last too long! In a few days i can begin with the paintjob! Only the tracks take some more time! Its funny, the kit itself can be build faster than the Friuls...😄

@Kim: Which of the 18 KVs in my stash do you mean? KV-2?
I guess I need to finish some of my projects, before I start a new one...😉

@ Frank: I know the feeling, the KV 2. 18 monster tanks in your stash, not bad at al.

Hi Kim!
I´ll give the Tamiya stuff a try, when it sucks i´ll change to putty or your hot screwdriver (sounds like a longdrink...)!
I´m not sure about the camo, yet. We´ll see what the future and my reference will show me. Any suggestions or inspirational photo´s?

Today a lot off work has been done in a very short timeperiode due to the remarkable fit of this kit!
The fenders are applied, some details and I thank god honestly for the invention of "Liquid Green Stuff"! That is a putty you can "sand" with a brush and water only! I tryed it first time and will never use something else in the future!
You can "zap a gap" around rivets without loosing them or in places which are to tight to sand there with sanding sticks etc. 🙂🙂

Holger in action! Liquid green stuff is really great, especially when you have some oldies on the bench.
But, why did you fill the gap of the tool box?

Great stuff, isn't it? My BA-20 needs quite some of it and it's so easy to handle.

I like the jack and the spring.
The spring appears a bit long to me, but nothing, which couldn't easily be changed.

Yes, it still needs some work, but it looks way better than the kitpart!

Just a few adds and the paintjob can start. I don't post pics cuz it would ruin the story behind the model. Just stay and wait for the final result😢!

The structure of the amour plates is quite impressive, sometimes it really sucks to apply zimmerit over it.... but some vehicles need this coatig for their special look - and so does (Imho) the elephant

Thank you dudes!
Yes Fabian, you are right! But i solved the "problem" with the Zimmerit in my special way...😉 I´ll post a pic that gives you a glimpse of the idea i´m realising without telling too much!

Hi Holger,
you're lucky that you closed the hull already, otherwise you could have done like this guy here: public.fotki.com/Lie..mour/armour-135/wip/
