Hello,
this is the second project form my Tempest dublette. It will represent Pierre Clostermanns well known Tempest, which has been flown by this Free-French ace in the last months of the conflict.
Generally speaking it consists of the same parts as the other Tempest boxing from Eduard. One major exception is the "closed" one-piece canopy clear part. I will exchange this one to get too an open cockpit. Another detailing effort will be deployed wing flaps, for which I got an Eduard etched part- set.
On the pictures you see the flaps cut out. The build will proceed parallel -so I hope- to the second Tempest.

Clostermann´s Tempest is ready for "decaling" by now, filling and sanding took a while for both Tempests. Walkways as the yellow stripes on the wings have been sprayed, I am looking forward to the decals!

Hello!
Decals of this older Tempest-package revealed to be of rather ... let´s say, mediocre quality. Whenever possibel I utilised stencils and markings of the "Beaumont" kit who remained unused.
Also Clostermans Tempest should see its "roll out" this week.

Beautiful work, as always Roland! You're making me want to get my Mk. V Tempest kit out of the loft and get to work on it! 🙂
