F-8E Crusader - VF-84 Jolly Rodgers Part 1
OOB build basic construction

My last two builds were an F-4 and F-14 of Jolly Rogers and I decided to try to model an F-8 Crusader that proceeded both in the VF-84. I am using the Academy F-8E kit and Microscale Sheet 72-205 for the appropriate markings. Since it is an out of the box build I am not adding any additional details trying to maximize parts as included in the kit. So no seat belts or etch, in 1/72 scale its pretty fiddly and I find it frustrating taking away the joy of the build for me. I will do this project in installments this is just the preliminary build. Next up will be painting.
