Against the usual plan i started with the wings, because they seemed very fragile to me and they need a lot of care in case of sanding and gap filling. So i find it easier to handle starting the construction with them.

Crikey, I've headbutted the wing flap of a Cessna 172 float plane trying to get in and start it before it floated away but I wouldn't want to run into the wingtip of one of these!!

RLM65 under surface is ok but RLM76 and 75(spottling) with yellow wingedge undersides?

I checked a dozen times if i got them paired correctly.

What further really sucks a bit with this kit is that RS ddd not capture the shape of the wing correctly. it is made as a straight triangle but you can clearly see in the drawing that it has rather a curved shape.
That would have been to much to do this scratch.

Thanks for the video, Daniel. The trailing edge definitely has a kink, but I'm not convinced it had a forward kink to the leading edge. If it's there, it's very subtle. I'll have another look on a bigger screen later.

Color choice is RLM65 undersides. RLM70 upper surfaces with RLM76 sprayed over in shape of a kind of net.
A bit like the Italian Camo on the Macchis.

Fit is ok! Ok it looks abit wild with the maskol now! But after cleaning this should look fine.
A bit of sanding and cleaning necessary betweenn fuselage and canopy. but the fit is better than expected, especially
compared to experiences with this kit so far 🙂

I canot imagine the plane could have looked that way. I will redo it with RLM75 and RLM76 vers.2 and will spray it freehand with much smaller single patches.
