I removed everything I could remove:
Antenna, gear, pylons, Canopy and I even had to break off the horizontal stabilizers to be able to get into the hard to get areas.
This allowed me to mask off the tail l.

Yellow over white gives the desired effect I am looking for!
I also patched various grey paints over the reg to cover it, I'll be adding a ZD322 decal from the set.
