Thank's mates!
>was the leo entirely out of box build?
Yes. Straight OOB build. Not best meng kit, but good enough🙂

Great work, subtle weathering. Query though, titleis 1A3, isn't the square turret an A4, which the kit allows anyway. Your tester photo is the round turret, which I thought was the A3. Not a cat specialist so maybe way off the mark. Either way, great model. Whose green did you use?

Scott, the 1A3 and 1A4 are both the squared turreted versions. The 1, 1A1 and 1A2 are the rounded ones. The 1A5 is the upgraded version of the 1A1A1 through 1A2A1 which brought all those subversions on a same level. But even then, the Leopard 1 story is a VERY convoluted one... 😄

Top notch paintwork on this beautiful tank. The twin vehicles are impressive as well.

Thanks Pat, I just had a look at the box art again, I thought I saw it as a rounded one with the spaced appliqué armour, but it is squared. All I really remembered was that to build the Aussie Leopard we had to buy the Tamiya A4 not the other Tamiya one (Only games in town back then) and modify from there. Thanks for making that clearer. Cheers

Thank's mates!
I'm not pro in versions of leo1 (not my topic) - just build OOB🙂
>Whose green did you use?
Self made mix, based on tamiya XF-76
