Thank you Villiers but must admit the cutout parts were part of the kit which was built OOB.

Album info

wanted to change my genre to Armor so I decided to build the RFM cutaway Panther as my next project. It will be out of the box which should not be an issue with this detailed kit. I will post progress as I build it following RFMs instruction sequence. Unlike most armor the instructions begin with building the gun and manlet. Lots of detail here with the MG34, sight and breach. One note I did not use any of the photoetch in this section of the build as it would all be hidden under plastic and not visible.

Part 2 upper and lower turret build. Again building from the box I primed all the parts with grey and then painted the interior parts using Vallejo Model Air Ivory 71-075 (RAL1001, Eifenben). I did a final coat on both the upper and lower hull after assembly. I decided to delay installing the smaller exterior parts of the turret until later in the build. As the project is a cutaway I wanted to build it with minimal weathering as it is intended as a new vehicle. To bring out some details I used Flory brown diluted as a wash on the lower turret assembles.
