Renault ran three different versions of their A 442 car in the 1978 LeMans 24 Hour race. The A-442A no's 3 & 4...an A-442B #2 (the winning car) and a A-443 car #1. This kit is of the winning car #2...the A-442B. This body is a different casting to the other Mini Racing Renault and reflects the proper cockpit surround to accommodate the large windscreen...new front clip reflecting the proper wheel arches and their vents, access panels and headlight buckets, as well as a larger front splitter. The rear deck has changes to the vents, Naca ducts, air extractors and wing supports. Also Mini Racing has the proper position for the rear view mirrors including the one atop the windscreen.
