how did you get the white so clean and glossy

I primed with white Kilz spray can (not recomended unless you want to spend you evening sanding) but I had no white primer on hand other than that.
then a I sprayed three or four light mist coats of lifecolor gloss white (added a drop of dishwashing soap as a surfactant) then I spray a couple of coats of model masters Metalizer sealer before decals and then a couple more after decals are set to seal them in place. if you try the metalizer sealer test it before on a piece of scrap as some model paints will craze up with the Laquer based metalizer sealer I always do a mist coat first then a very wet coat for the finish coat

Very cool! I picked up a few kits of these. I may do one in the Turkish Stars markings but I have a bunch of ESCI F-5A/B decals I want to do up.
