Hello,
I would like to show you my attempts on building Eduards well designed and well equipped F6F-3 Hellcat.
I am quite impressed by the high quality of fininess and detail- seldom seen such tiny parts made from Polysterol! In particular that refers to the parts of the main gear construction.
Next step will be spraying the first layers of a decent preshading.

I'll take a seat ...
I agree with you, I build this one a year ago and it was a pleasure to build, very well detailed and the navy planes were very aged from the salt and sun makes it a lot more than dark blue, medium blue and white.
PS:
I assume you follow the last projects and build it in several versions?

😮) oh yes! Albi, you are right. This Hellcat is going to be a forerunner for three Britsh land lease planes. Two will be build out of Eduards double-boxing and the third should have folded wings: it will be made out of Hobby Boss´promising FAA Hellcat kit. I have to wait for these until more urgent projects have left my workbench...
I think there will be less bare metall but a lot more of weathering and colour paling.
I feel honoured and encourageded knowing you having taken a seat 😮)

Hi Roland - it's always a big fun for me watching your building reports. 😄

Hallo Roland! Ja, Eduard's Hellcat ist in punkto Passgenauigkeit ein Traum. Da wirst Du praktisch nichts spachteln und schleifen müssen. Bin schon auf das Endergebnis gespannt.

Hello,
Thank you all for your friendly comments! Stefan, you are perfectly right... die Spachtel ist bis jetzt in der Tube geblieben 🙂
