This kit took a shortcut to my workbench; I had to get and to build this attractive seaplane from the first moment I had the change to buy one of the Amodel kits.
I really hope I will do justice to the beautiful forms of this plane, because the kit seems to be rather tricky. Fit of the parts is clearly below average, even knowing this is a shortrun kit. As an example all the fuselage windows had to be adjusted with knife and sanding paper to fit into the openings- rather challenging work.
The seats have been outfitted with seatbelts made of Tamiya tape and some wiring on the cockpit sidewalls have been done. I did not put all too much ambition into that becaus there will be not all too much be seen inside the assembled fuselage.
I am looking forward to assemble the fuselage of the "Seefalke"...!

Hallo, sei mir willkommen! Diesmal wird für das viele Geld wirklich was geboten... jede Menge Schnitzerei und heftiges Improvisieren garantiert.

Danke Dir, das geplante Endprodukt sollte einen gewissen Aufwand wert sein.

Great looking interior! Is that scratchbuilt or kit supplied? Very interesting looking aircraft.

Thank you Gordon! Besides the seat-belts, the map and instruments on the navigators table, everything could be found in the kit.
The kit provides some tricky fitting issues too... Nearly no part was fitting properly. That´s a notably problem with the two strakes on the fuselages top, I will have to rebuild them because of the necessary excessive filling and sanding work.
I hope I am able to save the day for that unlovely kit of an really lovely aircraft 🙂

Hej Roland! Ein echter Exot, den du dir da ausgesucht hast. So wie es aussieht wird das eine Füll,- und Schleiforgie, noch schlimmer als bei Shinmeiwa. Schaue Dir gespannt zu.
