While my former Chevelle projekt scalemates.com/profi..ts&project=96859 made the 4th paintstrip while cracking the clearcoat, i decided to use a new body for the WIP-one. What to do with the (paint)stripped body? i decided to build it "low project - hopp or top - with repainting twice (after the chassis was completed) again, another color from olive to gold and i was lucky. no problems, from start to end then. Attached the vinyl roof, decals and ready to roll out.
The Chevelle came out as wished, has the "old" color underneath and in the enginebay, looks like a repainted, used car.
