That's going to be a challenge for such a ham-fisted person, like me 😄

Surprisingly, there were some sinkmarks that needed filling...

Both airframes ready. I drilled holes for the rigging before glueing wings and undercarriage...but this will be a challenge, I suppose.

Ready for masks. Next to the matchstick head are transparent canopies...
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/8/1/1/1255811-48972-16-720.jpg)
I used the vinyl masks provided with the kit on the R-1, but the ones for the fuselage did not work well - masks are quite stiff and the adhesive is weak...
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/8/1/2/1255812-48972-49-720.jpg)
Thus, for the fuselage masks for the R-2 I cut them from the Tamiya kabuki tape, using the ones from the kit as a pattern.

I have managed not to loose any of the canopies to the carpet monster. Also I have installed them both. Hoooray!
