Build this for a group build with a "What-if history turned out differently" theme. In this scenario, Germany beat the Soviet Union in WW2 and created a Germano/Russo Union. The Cold War looked different as China didn't fall to the Communists and eventually allied with Japan and other Pacific nations to form the Pacific Defence Organization (PaDO). Because of this, there was no division in Korea, but there was still a Korean War because the Germano/Russo Union invaded Korea in order to divide China from Japan and weaken their position. Germany took the strong points of their equipment and the strong points of Russian equipment and combined them, hence the BTR-152/88 S.P.G. These vehicles would become the scourge of urban warfare, fast, agile, able to withstand small and moderate arms fire and packed a serious punch!
I built this with parts from the Airfix 88mm Gun and Tractor kit and the ICM BTR-152V kit. I generally don't do what-ifs like this and I have never build AFVs in this scale before, so it was way outside of my normal comfort zone, but it was a fun build.
