This Bf 109 project should bring some new experiences. The first: covering the specific spot camouflage of this machine: first H37 from Gunze was sprayed over everything, this will now be covered with cut-out stencils to then be treated with H335.... I am already curious about the result!

A few new pictures here too: the masks have been removed and show the first result. I am satisfied so far and will prepare the whole thing for the application of the decals.

Now it has gone faster than expected: "Tito's 109" is finished! The decal sheet from Exito is really highly recommended, I am happy to be able to put a Bf 109 in unusual "captured" scheme in the showcase. The photos surprised me in two ways: firstly, the colours are extremely shifted depending on the background - the ones in front of the neutral blue match the original better - secondly, the 109 seems far too clean; I actually equipped it with a bit more traces of use.
Anyway: I hope you like the pictures, thank you for your interest and your comments!

I agree with Thomas, WhiteGlint and Simon. Clean and careful work - as always - and a very appealing matte surface appearance.
