Stealth fast craft

This is a MikroMir kit, so do not expect any facilitating items 😉

Nevertheless, seems to be quite a simple build

These beams were moulded as fragments of the main sprue (see photo #1) - ingenious, isn't it 😉

I have installed the interior dock, but I am still pondering on the final configuration of the rear ramp and cockpit hatch...
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/9/5/8/1156958-48972-30-720.jpg)
I do not know the purpose of these holes in the real thing...
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/9/5/7/1156957-48972-63-720.jpg)
Puttying... and sanding... and polishing are the order of the day of course. Fortunately, only perfectly flat surfaces here 😉

Dry fitting of main parts of the hull. Even though there are mainly flat surfaces, puttying was necessary...
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/3/3/1/1161331-48972-61-720.jpg)
Since I couldn't find the photos of the interior I decided to glue the hatch in the closed position.

Quite an ingenious way of aligning the masks for windscreen and side windows.

Primed. After analysing the available photos of a real thing I discovered that from the kit parts one can make neither the craft depicted on the box top nor the one proposed in the painting scheme... Also the radar shroud is of wrong shape for this very boat, I found something to substitute it (the blue half-spherical piece it is...)

Painted. Now I need to break this monotony in some way...
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/9/1/7/1177917-48972-44-720.jpg)
Now I have to figure out how to assemble these...

Current state of the model

Tried not to overdo the weathering.

![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/1/6/6/1179166-48972-19-720.jpg)
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/1/6/7/1179167-48972-28-720.jpg)
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/1/6/8/1179168-48972-83-720.jpg)
Finished. Not really spectacular looking model representing the first version of SeaLion vessel. Producing the camouflaged ones would need a lot of modifications on a basis of photos only, however. Still, it is something unusual 😉
