What I'm mailnly fighting against, is the overspray. I either get it or spill the paint, still can't locate the point in-between in my new gun.

Thanks, I use Hataka lacuqers: RLM74, RLM75 & RLM76.

That's the direction I aim to follow moreless. I circle between 0,5-0,8bar and stick to either LvLThinner or Hataka's own. I just played around with the brighter colours and I think I'm improving.
I think I'm bit impatient here again, as correcting the borders using brighter colours afterwards seem to help a lot.
Will try RLM74 next, stay tuned.

Thanks for your support. Tried the RLM74 once again and failed once more. Even when I get the desired flow I can't make it last longer than for a split second 🙁
Taking a week of break and we'll see. Still thinking of bluetack 😉

As Roland said. High diluting, low pressure and trigger limiting are the keys. Just keep trying. Cheers

If you haven't done yet, try to mix outside of the airbrush. Looks like colour and thinners varied. Moreover clean and check the nozzle for small rests of old paint that could block it. Then you want to add more air, the s**t sets free and you get the blotches. ? Watch the tip of the needle and keep it clean. All other hints were said before. Just try and have fun ?

Do you mean a continuous flow of paint but then it gets clogged? So you push the trigger back more and suddenly it sprays again with too much material?

In the meantime I found out the needle tip was crooked, I must have damaged it somewhere on the way.
Got a replacement and played the second turn yesterday - RLM74 went quite good, RLM75 was too thin probably 🙁
Getting the properly thinned paint seems to be the biggest challenge. The other smaller one is to spray less paint, but without spitting the single spots around. Balance seems to be the key here.

Decalling done today, very happy with the result, though the kit in this aspect is so crappy - there is no actual decalling instruction! 😄
Swastikas come from Techmod set and some crosses stolen from Design/Academy kit.

"Kölle" stands for Cologne and "Kölle Alaaf" is the official Slogan for the Cologne Carnival festival. Like "Happy New Year" It means something like:
First Cologne than the rest in this specific time.

The Pilot was from Cologne and he was based not far away from where i Live.
