Inne fuselage dry fitted to test the joins.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/4/6/0/908460-18633-26-720.jpg)
Internal detail is just about done.
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/1/4/8/1229148-18633-33-720.jpg)
Next is the tail and horizontal stabilizers.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/2/3/7/1229237-18633-19-720.jpg)
This is truly a massive massive model!
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/2/3/8/1229238-18633-94-720.jpg)
Wow....
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/0/6/4/1230064-18633-46-720.jpg)
That's alot of pegs....
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/1/7/4/1230174-18633-16-720.jpg)
That's the internal engine exhausts painted and built
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/1/6/8/1232168-18633-68-720.jpg)
To date my favourite wing section I've built.
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/1/6/6/1232166-18633-17-720.jpg)
I decided the Cargo hold looked a little too bare so I searched photos online and I improvised.
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/1/6/7/1232167-18633-10-720.jpg)
I used the Fire Extinguisher from the Airfix Supermarine Spitfire Mk.1.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/3/0/9/1237309-18633-56-720.jpg)
Now the decision was made to close up the inner fuselage.
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/7/8/3/1238783-18633-39-720.jpg)
Finally the cockpit is painted
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/7/8/4/1238784-18633-38-720.jpg)
Finished
![Album image #22 Album image #22](/albums/img/7/8/5/1238785-18633-71-720.jpg)
And attached to the inner fuselage!
![Album image #23 Album image #23](/albums/img/6/8/9/1266689-18633-83-720.jpg)
The fuselage is now closed up, Wings are still still dry fitted.
![Album image #24 Album image #24](/albums/img/2/6/2/1291262-18633-85-720.jpg)
Cockpit windows are masked.
![Album image #25 Album image #25](/albums/img/9/9/6/1353996-18633-98-720.jpg)
One final test fit before thongs get big.
This thing is absolutely enormous!
Possibly the only kit I have that's bigger is the Monogram B-36 Peacemaker.

![Album image #26 Album image #26](/albums/img/0/3/8/1655038-18633-18-720.jpg)
Rotors all built, here's a quick test fit to see how she looks.
![Album image #27 Album image #27](/albums/img/9/3/1/1657931-18633-12-720.jpg)
I took 404 our for a day of sprey priming today, seems to have gone well..
![Album image #28 Album image #28](/albums/img/9/3/7/1657937-18633-27-720.jpg)
Seems aren't as bad as they were around the cockpit now!
![Album image #29 Album image #29](/albums/img/6/2/6/1659626-18633-60-720.jpg)
I took the plunge with the 1 thing I was more worried about than the sheer size!
THE NOSE!!!
THE NOSE!!!
![Album image #30 Album image #30](/albums/img/6/2/7/1659627-18633-72-720.jpg)
Props painted.
![Album image #31 Album image #31](/albums/img/8/1/3/1660813-18633-50-720.jpg)
So I built and finishes the "refueling" probe but I noticed that it's just a blank almost like the broom handles they used in the B-25 Mitchell on the Doolottke Raid!
![Album image #32 Album image #32](/albums/img/8/1/4/1660814-18633-93-720.jpg)
I "borrowed" a probe end from one of my New Tool Airfix Harrier GR.9
![Album image #33 Album image #33](/albums/img/1/2/1/1661121-18633-25-720.jpg)
And I think it looks very much like the real thing!
![Album image #34 Album image #34](/albums/img/1/2/2/1661122-18633-94-720.jpg)
Close enough for me 🙂
![Album image #35 Album image #35](/albums/img/1/2/3/1667123-18633-43-720.jpg)
The final test fit.
![Album image #36 Album image #36](/albums/img/0/6/4/1673064-18633-25-720.jpg)
All that needs doing on the fuselage is to add the main Gear doors and door.
![Album image #37 Album image #37](/albums/img/0/6/6/1673066-18633-78-720.jpg)
Last painting done and decals to the upper wing surfaces.
![Album image #38 Album image #38](/albums/img/5/0/9/1673509-18633-19-720.jpg)
404 has been towed out of the paintshop atlast.
![Album image #39 Album image #39](/albums/img/0/6/5/1673065-18633-76-720.jpg)
Now to finish the rotor blades.
![Album image #40 Album image #40](/albums/img/4/4/6/1674446-18633-63-720.jpg)
Masking these Beasts is very tedious!
![Album image #41 Album image #41](/albums/img/5/3/2/1675532-18633-56-720.jpg)
Painting the propellers.....
![Album image #42 Album image #42](/albums/img/5/3/1/1675531-18633-80-720.jpg)
Final decals.
![Album image #43 Album image #43](/albums/img/5/2/4/1675524-18633-55-720.jpg)
And she's finished!
![Album image #44 Album image #44](/albums/img/5/2/5/1675525-18633-50-720.jpg)
The tail should have Orange on but Revell's decal is red so I decided HHrA painted it Red for...reasons....
![Album image #45 Album image #45](/albums/img/5/2/6/1675526-18633-10-720.jpg)
I think 404 looks pretty nice!
![Album image #46 Album image #46](/albums/img/5/2/7/1675527-18633-92-720.jpg)
I'm still going to try and get some flags for the front of the fuselage.
![Album image #47 Album image #47](/albums/img/5/2/8/1675528-18633-22-720.jpg)
Another angle.
![Album image #48 Album image #48](/albums/img/5/2/9/1675529-18633-10-720.jpg)
She now officially joins HHrA's Transport fleet!
![Album image #49 Album image #49](/albums/img/5/3/4/1675534-18633-39-720.jpg)
Just a decent head on shot showing off the detailed propeller blades.
