The Texan is created simultaneously with the Wirraway: many similarities, but also the first differences become visible!

Alclad "White Aluminum" has been applied as a surrogate to the Aluminum paint of this Texan, which was flown by the French in Algeria.

Nice build of one of my favorite aircraft. There's so many marking options for texans.

A few pictures conclude this enjoyable and quick/entertaining project. The parts are from the old Occidental Kit. In this respect I wanted to supplement or even replace some parts: the guns were represented by syringe needles, for details in the cockpit a detail set by Eduard was used, where hardly any plastic part remained as it was. All in all a piece of solid model home cooking, what you can expect in the Italeri box - and thus completely different from the sister project of the CA Wirraway kit from Special Hobby. The parts are from the old Occidental Kit. Looks fantastic Roland. 👍 I've got plans for a similar Italeri kit in the Trainer yellow paint scheme.

Cheers Roland - another cool NMF - you really manage to choose the right tone, shine & finish to capture the looks of a particular bare-metal aircraft, Hustler, Tunnan, Texan... really good stuff 👍

Amazing job Roland! She looks very much alike. I've build this kit too and it's a nice kit to build.
