@ ForestFan: The build was rather disappointing and not without troubles...after all, I find it worse than the Airfix!
It actually looks like an updated Airfix kit, with recessed panel lines and a few details in the cockpit. The canopy is as bad as the one from Airfix, unfortunately.
The Airfix kit has a better fit in general.
On the AZ Model I had to retouch the wing root (even more), build up part of the empennage section and canopy/fuselage fit needed extra attention too.
Well...we do not have many options for a Chipmunk in 72nd. It's either or, and both are not up to date with standards you can find nowadays.

As for the woman, some say it's the owners wife.. :-P
In fact this was my first commission build. The trade off is a flight in the original... looking forward to it 🙂
