The cockpit looks very convincing. I'm looking forward to the finished model. Have fun with it Roland!

Thank you for your motivating words Sebastian! In fact, this Eduard Brassin-affair is a quite complex but well prepared and comfortable equipped build. What I have seen so far, Revells Spitfire Mk.II will be a very well fitting, quite simple and fast modellers joy.

Juergen and Maciej, thank you for these words. Indeed, that is a very nice kit- and it promises to be a rather fast and enjoyable build once the Brassin interior has been tackled with!

Thank you Bart! Revells Spitfire proves to be just that, what the low parts count and low complexity of the kit promises: a joyful and rather fast build!

The Spit shows it´s colors by now- and a very glossy appearance, having been prepared to receive the decals.

A few new pictures of this Spitfire in the home stretch.... Still the surfaces lack any kind of washing, which I will do in the next step

Great looking Spit, Roland. The interior looks great! And the decals went down excellent.

Thank you Gordon! At the end and with heavy application of decal softener it did work....
I am glad to present you the final result now- spinner seems not to be correct for this specific Spit and some areas are a little bit heavy detailed- but I am happy I got this finished!
Thank you for your interest and your motivation mates!

Outstanding result Roland! 👍 Paint, weathering, decals and photos are all fantastic. Congrats on another top shelf build. How did you like the Revell kit?

Thanks for your these encouraging words! In all modesty I must smile, Maciej 🙂 I can really recommend the Revell kit - especially if you're interested in an inexpensive and easy to use model building experience. The original cockpit seems to be sufficiently, if not impressively detailed.
Negative points, however, result in the overly pronounced representation of the rivets, which, not quite correctly, are all represented as countersunk rivets. I also didn't like the somewhat cumbersome design of the landing gear legs. It seems that the pointed spinner is not suitable for both depictable machines. But across the board my judgement about this kit is very positive!
