Cut out in the fuselage closed because incorrect.  

All 4 landing gear attachment points are incorrect designed.  

Oversized openings closed.  

New research results: the front of the fuselage is completely wrong. The very forward area must be removed for correct installation of the cowling.  

Tail wheel: unfortunately this area is designed completely wrong and must be constructed from scratch.  

Tail wheel support arm should be mounted on the fuselage spar and not on the movable doors.

The windscreen is wrong: compare with picture 48. 

 

 

Another art of "modeling": original ciabatta in 1:1 scale🙂 

Windscreen should have 4 and not 3 pieces of glass. The front edge is sharp and not round as in the kit. 

Maintenance step, bulge on the fuselage and STRAIGHT Panel around wheel bay.  

No maintenance stap, no bulge, curved panel and wrong shape of the front panel (with cooler opening).  

Step, bulge and....🙁🙁🙁 argh! 

 

 

Corrected oil cooler inlet: the vanes are now inside.  

Maintenance step: ok. Bulge: ok. Straight line of the wheel bay: ok.  

Windscreen with 4 panels: ok. Sharp edge: 1/3 ok too much work to correct it 100%.  

 

 

 

 

Painting completed minus black area on the wings near the fuselage. 1st weathering task completed.  

Airbrushing the ruder produced better result than applying the decal. The forward corner not painted Blut grey jet.

Ruder is now ready painted. Just noticed that the very prominent counterweights on the prop are not present in the kit.  

 

Navy letters in old style: base for new decals.  

 

 

 

Brass tubing: wire antenna (Schleppantenne) “outlet”. 

?? Knows anybody what function have this tube? The duck do not have forward firing guns...
