interested... why do the companies always want to make a seamline in the middle of the running surface of a wheel instead of at the borders?

Not always, fortunately🙂
For example in Kinetic kit there is no seamline🙂
karopka.ru/bitrix/co..file.php?fid=1369031
But generally kinetic - awful🙂

2: James C - Kit looks very good (except vinil tracks). I thing it's best M109A6 Paladin for now.

Hi Evgeny; nice kit, thinking on getting one myself some time in the future; had one question: what color did you use for the tracks ? I find myself experimenting lately with a lot of techniques on tracks, can't decide on one, so I'm curious how you do yours. Thanks

Hi Dan M;
Now tracks painted in Vallejo Pancer Aces Track Primer 70318
Two words about this color.
Pro: It's very realistic looks. Like natural, old, little rusted metal
but CONTRA: - it awfull blow due airbrush. Very bad coverage, very bad adhesion.
Too difficult for use, but looks good as base. My verdict - not recommend

Thank you Evgeny; i've also used Vallejo Track Primer as I like the color, i'm also doing a little color modulation by splashing it with some other Panzer Aces colors (Light Rust and Dark Rust) on a random pattern just to keep the tracks less uniform, then drybrush with a metal color.
I too had the same problems with it (very difficult to use with an airbrush) and right now i'm thinking either to :
1. replace it with AK Dark Tracks (which can be airbrushed and it has a similar color hue)
or
2. one experiment that i'm currently doing with my Warrior is paint the tracks directly in a metallic steel color (like Vallejo Metal Color Steel) then use washes and pigments to weather it and bring it to a more rusty, old look.

Wooohh, thats a cool Paladin and a great tutorial. Seems to be a typical AFV-Club kit. I like your weathering - not overdone but realistic. 👍 Well done, Evgeny!
