@Christian: Mich ärgert es dass ich mich fast 2 Jahre mit dem Revell Starter Set abgemüht habe. Der Kompressor lässt sich hier bis 4 bar regeln, hält die Luft sehr gut, das Zubehör ist OK, die Pistolen lassen sich einwandfrei benutzen...super zu dosieren, kein Verkleben der Düse mehr, durch das Double Action sehr gut zu handeln...einfach eine andere Dimension - bin total happy 😉

Burkhard DLooks nice, skilled application of paint. 🙂
But you won't find such a pattern on the real aircraft. It's a general issue with the pre-shading method. Looks great as it gives depth and breaks uniformity. But in reality it is very rarely found, at least on modern airplanes... 🙂

Christian Ristits@Burkhard, yes, you are 100% correct. My intension was not to create a "skelett", but I think it puts more life on this piece of plastic...I saw some photos of F-15 with very used paint...so I tried to create some shadows and lighter areas. After the clear varnish the whole colour is darker, and the pre-shading is not dominating any more. Lets see how it looks with decals and the washing...thank you for following! Christian

Burkhard DBesides what I had to say on pre-shading - your model looks really great! Not easy to make such a single-color bird look "alive", but you accomplished this perfectly on your Mudhen. Cheers 👍👍👍

Christian RistitsThank you Glenn for such a big word 😉 The build is not perfect at all...I made some seriously mistakes, like to less Clear coat under some decals, wrong painture on the inside of the jet-intakes...but in sum I am satisfied, and it was a lot fo fun!
