Don't get to see many 1/16 kits built so I'll take my seat and follow your build.

I'll jump in too. I've been watching the 1/16 deluge of armour kits, hitting the market, and it's tickling my juices. Granted, the prices are high, but the details are fabulous and my old eyes, can actually see the parts, and my fat fingers can place them too!
Strapping in for a back seat.

The details on that engine, are excellent! I've done the Hasagawa 1/25 version, and that was impressive, but this is on another level 👍

Small details added, 50 cal M2 and overall weathering. Will add some stowage and perhaps the figure included in the kit (depends on my limited figure painting ability)

Thanks Santa Fe I enjoyed the larger scale as well, read a review that the plastic parts for the steering were not up to the strain as working parts I hope it works out for you. Thank as well Lost, I liked beating it up bit.

1/16 Takom Jeep Finished

I decided the 50 Cal was a bit overwhelming for the size of the Jeep so I mounted a Battleground Hobbies 30 Cal instead with associate ammo boxes, I scratch built the stabilizing bar using a 1/72 M2 mount and another u shaped molding out of the Dragon Kit with wire.

I also wanted more stowage so I added the Andy's Hobby Jeep stowage set 1, I used black and white basing on the resin pieces and then various Vallejo olive colors followed by Flory grime and brown washes, Vallejo pin wash black and finally Vallejo earth pigments,

I was not able to get the drivers right hand to mate with the wheel but I decided to show the figure in the passenget seat just so provide what the kit has in it, Not happy with the figures painting but I will learn as I go.

Details and M2 50 cal installed, and whole vehicle weatered with Flory wash and Vallejo pigments. I brushed and spattered the weathering materials. Stowage and maybe the driver next (figures are not my strong point)

Pioneer tools painted, weathered and attached to Jeep, kit decals applied and clear flat coat, still need to arm the jeep and also decide if I want to use the included driver figure (Which will depend on my ability to paint it) I will weather the Jeep next.

Basic construction complete with paint using Vallejo Air olive green modulation set. Ready to add decals and light weathering, I am building the driver but will make a decision later about using it, Also will add smaller details and 50 Cal M3.

Taking it one step at a time here is the completed chassis. Onto the Go Devil engine I assembled as much as I could to paint the major components as a assembly using Vallejo Air Russian green to give some mederatiin of olive green btw components
