That's the way I do my canopy's when they have a moldingseme on it, after the nailpolish-file I used the polisher from tamiya and at last I give it a bath in the sols-plus

Be very careful guys, I know of a modeller who wanted to polish his canopy but used the wrong tube. He accidentally used Tamiya putty insted of the polishing compound... guess the resulting damage and the accompanying statements 🙁
So, check twice before rubbing...

Hi guy, this happened to me one time. Fortunately it was a wing that I prepared for an Aluminum paint and no canopy.

Toothpaste work as well as the Tammy polishing compound and is also cheaper. Normal one is less abbrasive than a whitening one...

Burkhard, it's quite "clear" you're up to no good 😉
Btw Holly, is it French polish or is it Polish polish or have you Finnished it with something else ? 😄

Hey guys!
Actually i´m working on the clearparts of my TA-7C Corsair II (Hobbyboss). Unfortunately it has a huge moldingseam on it. This is the first time for me to work on such a problem. Some month ago i buyed me a nailpolish-file for normal sanding purpose and used this one on the clearparts. And what should i say? It works properly! But take a look yourself... 🙂
