Canadian T-72's

Interesting. What's the story behind this tank? Where is it displayed?

So hard to find information about these Canadian T-72s but the story seems to suggest that Canada acquired 6 T-72s in the 1990s from a Unified Germany for Trials and Evaluation. I believe the one in the photo was or is at CFB Borden. I think some also went to CFB Gagetown.
I think some of them eventually just became target tanks.
I just like the concept of t-72 with the blacked out Canadian maple leaf and paint scheme. 🙂
