It's very nice! Good to see a Gullwing not-in-silver... Did you use an aftermarket decal?

Very nice Gullwing! What's with purpose of the black stripes on the headlights?

Chris...... that's a safety formality for most competition cars & bikes. Not used so much now with Perspex & polycarbonate lenses, more the vintage stuff.
In the event of a racing incident the glass will stay intact, prevent broken glass from laying on the track & hopefully keep the light operating.

Thanks mates.
Istvan, the decals are from different aftermarket Sheets. The Stripes are painted.
Thanks Munkyslut - correct

Album info
... somehow I don't have an album here anymore ... maybe accidentally deleted ... so again.
The Uhlenhaut was created as a group built in the modelcar magazine. The annual theme "Cannonball".
I decided for this Uhlenhaut, first painted silver and then repainted in the racing outfit. Used and old - but it has to be fast.
The stripes are painted, decals created by myself. He got racing seats and steeringwheel. Finally weathered a bit - the box is finished
