Back from holidays and it turns out I broke down the windscreen 🙁 I started sanding from the inside to remove those vertical lines (which are not present on Polish Fulcrums afaik) and I must have squeezed it bit too much... Looks like I will have to fit a Pavla's vacu canopy in there 🙁

Welcome Harry. 🙂 I spent some time fiddling with the pitot tube lately, it's not the best outcome, but it's too tiny for me to get better results😉 My next Fulcrum will have the plastic one I think. Getting ready for painting, but still haven't decided whether to paint the intakes (white) first or at the end to make the masking easier...

Thanks, I recommend searching for Mini World's Fulcrum pitot, this one is too tiny for me. And it doesn't look like designed for Trumpeters kit.
In the meantime I started spraying and found out the main intakes should be open while the upper ones are closed (or the other way around), but it's too late, so it will stay as it is. Also the cannon whereabouts need correction, this can be seen on the last pic (macro is merciless!) 🙂

It looks rather dark. Which decals do you have? I have some for a single seat and a two seat, with the big grey emblem. Don't quite remember which pilots are depicted, I'll let you know.

I'm going to use the Caracal set. #111 carries the big grey emblem on top. I read somewhere that the Xtracolor Gunship Grey exactly matches the Caracal colour in case of corrections, that's why I selected it, even though it's enamel, which is stinky.😉 And yes, the pics may be bit too dark when taken under artificial light.
Remember that the Polish Fulcrums are being currently repainted to match the Falcons and Fitters (FS36270 + FS36375), so currently #111 is much brighter for example.

Do you have any pics of the new camo? I saw the new Fitter camo up close and personal 3 years ago. It looked nice and of course fresh!

The way to quickly recognise the differnce is to have a look at the number - old one includes red and the new one - grey digits.

Welcome everyone. Micro Sol is drying as I write this, but you can already see the quality of Caracal and Cartograf decals - they are simply awesome 🙂

Almost complete, except for the R-60 rockets, which I decided to add today.
The PE details from AH were real pain in the ass, had to scratchbuilt few antennas after I lost them. Not that they are bad, they're just too tiny for me. The dischargers might not be straight on the pics, I keep on hitting them all the time 🙁
In case you start an older versions (not requiring the PE fret) - this kit is a pure pleasure to assemble. I have to build another one soon.

That's a really nice Fulcrum - makes me itching to start with mine! BTW, did you paint the tan-colored seal around the canopy, or was it provided as a decal? It is such a prominent feature of the real thing.

@Thomas: As I couldn't find such a decal in my stash, I went for Aizu 0,4mm tape and sealed it with a layer of Gauzy Agent. Probably it should be more yellowish, but I'm happy with the result.

@Andy: Well, to be honest it didn't, the parts are too tiny for my sight. My assumption is they designed it before Trumpeter's kit has showed up. I love all the other Master's products, but this one was dissapointing. Hence, for future builds I acquired Mini World's stuff, which is designed to fit this kit's slot.
