Wow Kees! And all of the sudden the A-7 is finished... Looking absolutely fantastic mate, don't know if I still got the guts to start mine 🙂 Great job 👍

Thanks for the humbling comments mates.
The degradation of paintwork on modern USN planes realy fascinates me.
I've tried to capture it on this A-7, learning some new tricks on the way.

Thanks for the kind words mates. 🙂
Used Gunze paints for the colors and some AK products and Mig pigments for the weathering.
Not my last (grey) USN bird, that's for sure! 😉

Beautiful job, the side of the fuselage with the pilot boot scuffing on it looks great as does the wing roots

Thanks mates!
Muphlon, I used oils and AK (panel line) washes for the grease effects. The scuffing on the side and on top of the wings is done with MiG pigments. I think it is 'europe dust' for the sand colour and black.

Technician of the board was a big slut, in unpeeled shoes wandered over the wings and the cockpit.???? Original is not an example clearer.

Nice model and nice photos.
Heh, I remember seeing lots of these Corsair models so many many years ago in the big Tamiya printed catalog I used to read though repeatedly.
