interesting subject. Bernhard, don't worry about the age. As long as you can hold a knife, snading sticks and the airbrush everything is still ok😉 P.S. ups, I forget glasses😉)

Hi,
indeed. Very nice kit. Quality, especially surface details, is very good. Fit is excellent. In my opinion kit is very well designed (division into parts). I used the extra etched set from Paragrafix. This contains 2 tables, one chair, ceiling-panels and railings for the salon. Ceiling-panels are very useful when one wishes to illuminate the model.

Thx Bernhard! Now this kit is on my wishlist. I have had always a weak spot for the Nautilus, cause I like to build sub`s. Got two of the Revell "Snap Together" Kits in my stash, but never started them.

What size is the Nautilus? My eyes are not so young anymore and I start having trouble with smaller scales. But I do like the subject and what you have done.

I love it! Have you had the chance to "walk through" the full-scale movie replica of the Nautilus at Disneyland Paris? Really cool! 🙂

Hi folks. Nice to read your friendly comments. @Emil: The Sub is in 1:144 and aprox. 30 cm long (hull). The Part 2 "lights for the Nautilus" is in progress🙂

When I was young the stories & books of Jules Verne fascinated me. Today I am "old" and Jules Verne still fascinates me: Nautilus of Pegasus Hobby in 1:144.
