1/72 Airfix Harrier GR.9 ZD406 "Fly Navy 100"

These are the Airfix Old Tool Harrier II kits I found whilst searching through the stash.

There was one more T.10 in the stash at the time but I chose to not dig it into as I planned to buy an open Pegasus Engine set for it but since then I've decided to buy 1 more T.10 and a ton more GR.7's to replace the ton of Italeri AV-8B's in my stash.

Now this is were I started to really love it!
I added the tissue to make it look like how our girls were at the time in AMARG Davis Montham Air Force Base Arrizona USA. 

Now the painting has started I'll take individual photos. 

Just about ready for pylons gear and other fun bits n bobs. 

And she's done! 

Since even before my 1/72 modelling journey started and I didn't see the light when I was building 1/200 scale aircraft I really Wanted 2 Harriers.
I wanted ZG858 in 4 Squadron Display Tail and ZD406 in "FlyNavy100" tail and now I have them both!
