I appreciate the photos of the kit sprues for my own personal research, but it's not quite a review though, eh? I will say that while the Aoishima kit(s) have slightly (but not much) more details then the Polar lights kit, (mainly decals) the Polar lights kit(s) have a superior stainless steel finish that's beautiful right out of the box..

Added what I shot before assembly. What would you like to see here for review? Maybe I can add.
I saw Polar Lights - yes, the body looks great there! But there are simplifications in detail.
It would be interesting to compare the two sets

Will you be building soon? I will follow, and would like to see the sprues laid out for closer inspection, and pics of the build, but I can already tell Aoshima has better details then the Polar lights kit, especially the clear time circuits, more dashboard details, and better hose lines, also the metal fins on the back are very cool. However, the Flux Capacitor details are disappointing, but you do get a cool hover board! Really the only thing better about the Polar lights kit is the body. I wonder if they would fit together? I measure about 19.3 x 7.3 cm. Making up for a lack of details has been quite challenging, but hopefully rewarding in the end. 🙂

PE set in NOT in all Aoshima Deloreans.... actually, most of them have plastic exhausts.... too thick on my opinion 🙁 (you can see in picture 40)

Thank you for taking the time, Victor. The clear parts are nice, and the headlights lenses are nice too. I can see more of the back panel and flux capacitor details too, which aren't bad. The body has more details too like the Delorean logo on the rear bumper. I see the exterior wiring is very similar on both kits. 🙂
Didn't realize there were aftermarket pe parts!

JD, I plan to build it this year - the film is 35 years old 🙂 I will take a photo and video of the assembly.
Yes, Aoshima will have better detailing. But I will still modify the wires.
Spanjaard, right, the photo-etched parts are only in the "super detail" version. This is quite rare.

it is a pity they do not sell them separately. would love to have one, but since i can not, i will need to make those parts myself one way or another 😉
