Should this one have a longer hull (like the Sherman M4A4 / Mk.V) because of the multibank engine ?

Yes it should, and the box art shows otherwise.

I looked at the sprues on their website, all of the lower hull sprues look the same for M3-M3A5 Lees and Grants. The wheel sets should be further apart on the M3A4.
