hello folks, my first attempts to convert a catalina into a Nomad. I started fuselage transformation in particular landing gear, bottom fuselage and tail. work in progress your comments and recomendations are more than welcome.

hi everyone this week end was about detailing the interior. I did not get the photoetch so all scratch built with masking tape, plastic card or whjatever I had at hand.

hi guies, here are the progress I made end of december. I put fuselage toggether and started to modify it in order to adapt it to PBN-1 nooze and bottom at the same time. It is a bit complicated and I am learning slowy. work on progress still

Nose is a bit complicated I tried with milliput but I will fall out. so I decided to build a frame with expanded plastic sprue and reforce it a bit before filling it with styrene foam (not a good idea) and then putty (better idea)

bottom fuselage need to be modifed so it is marker, saw, plasticard and putty 🙂

hi every one after 3 weeks of small samall step in finishing the fuselage, filling, sanding, priming, refilling sanding etc and scribing i reach where I think it is now ok.

Actually the change are drastic in the tail nose and botom and look like a PBN-1. going for the wings now.

I moved to Kyiv since April, while I left this kit in Mali (not enough space in my luggage). I hope to have the kit shipped early 2023 here... so for now in standby
