I didn't want to close off the intake, so spent quite a lot of work on it.

I'm quite happy how the armoured glass turned out, I used Andrea inks for it

The fit of the Aires pit is quite good, I had to remove the usual interior detail on the walls and some mounting lugs on the upper side of the intake. I'm happy with how the intake came out, now to fair it in with the intake lip

I built this kit many years ago with the Verlinden cockpit and Electronic bay set. Had some fit issues with the cockpit windscreen and the intake is not half as good as yours. Will gladly follow the rest of the build.

Thanks mates! Work on the intake was not without issues, but I'm quite happy with the result.
Since it is so characteristic to the Corsair II, I didn't want to use a FOD cover.. 🙂
