...and here too. One point I'm struggling with is the longitudinal seam, which results from the construction of the cabin/engine cowling from two half shells.

I'm interested to see what you can do with this kit. Looks a bit of a challenge.

It is indeed a challenge for me. I'm planning to use the two trucks as extras for the model shots of a coming series of Soviet aircraft.
So, of course, I want them to look as good as I can in this unfamiliar métier 🙂

I don't want to push too hard, but with these two vices I'm really glad that an end has been reached. Now that was a nasty build! My two left hands and my lack of experience in this area are certainly part of the problem, but I must also attribute a significant proportion to these challenging parts. The lousy casting was one of the most annoying things I've ever seen... The only thing that kept me going was the determination to somehow bring everything that had been started to an end. Well, here's the end, my friend.

Did I mention that the window panes were not made with the kit parts - rather unusable - but with clear film cut to size? The railing on the UPG-250 comes from the 1:200 ship modelling section.

The two trucks are only to be used as photo airfield statists, so please be lenient in your judgement 🙂

I think they look excellent, particularly as they were from such basic kits.

Thank you gorby!
Photographing these beasts was quite fun today as compensation 🙂
