As a kit dating back to 1974, i found the detail to be unsurprisingly basic. As i was constructing the kit, i decided that the large fighting compartment was thin and flimsy and therefore not sturdy. To rectify this matter i reinforced the interior of the fighting compartment edges with spare spue. i swapped the kit supplied rubber band tracks for Masterclub metal tracks and replaced the gun barrel with an all metal one. The kit does not supply any Zimmerit coating, so inorder to make the kit more authentic, i applied Zimmerit decals that are available for the Tamiya example, not a perfect fit, but good enough. I did enjoy the build if i'm being honest, but more modern offerings from the likes of Tamiya, Zvezda and Amusing Hobby provide a far better detailed kit than this old offering.
