Thank you very much for your comments - mauch appreciate it a lot!
I've built it nearly ten years ago (started in mai 2011) and often i take a look on it to get ideas and "how have i made this..."-thoughts.
Nigel, the seat covers (and headliner) are made of Napkins soaked with a water-glue mixture. the soaked napkins can perfect be placed, wrinkled and teared. if it is dry you can choose any coler to paint or weather it.
The same technique i used on the 58 T-Bird or Cloths and curtains on the different campers in my colletion

This kit is one of the best you've done. I always like to look at it and I'm thinking: "Why the hell, I can't do that!"
I always liked this wooden pieces, which holding up the passengers window.

Album info

What's the story about the model?
I bought it in 2011 as a gluebomb, already startedand painting. After the paint was stripped, various damage showed up, which I decided to build as a Junker (the plastic did not tolerate it so well).

The history.
The owner has a heavy Chevy that he uses as a daily driver and is restoring piece by piece. He has already replaced the defective parts, the remaining traces of the accident can be seen on the passenger side.
Defective windows, spare parts on the back seat and loads of stuff in the trunk.
that's how it got its name: Junk in the Trunk 😉
